More about the role

Does this role sound like a challenge you are up for?As one of our Returns Operatives you will play a key role in our Returns Process. Part of your role is ensure you always find ways to be smart and use your own initiative while completing tasks to the best of your ability. Tasks also include;
  • Working to deadlines on unloading products when all vehicles return to our distribution centre
  • Scanning all documents for the De-brief of returning vehicles
  • Ensure all returned items are correctly logged in a timely manner
  • Sorting out returns into good and bad stock then grading them
  • Highlighting any issues found and escalating these to the right channel
  • Adhering to the correct manual handling techniques in line with H&S training and the manufacturers guidelines
  • Monitoring any unidentified returns
  • Ensuring smooth collection and disposal of all waste
  • Reporting any accidents, product issues or damages
  • Other ad-hoc duties that may arise

    Our Returns Operatives provide an excellent service, making sure that our vehicles are empty and clean and all returns processes are adhered to.

    A few things about you

    It is important that our operatives can work together with other team members and our warehouse operatives, you need to be smart enough to work independently and be trusted with the tasks you are given. You also need to be bold enough to report any issues and caring enough to carry out all task with a ‘can do attitude.’EXPERIENCE
  • You must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to follow instructions
  • You must be hardworking and demonstrate commitment to a good work ethic
  • Your role will need you to be flexible as you will be required to work some weekends
  • Experience of working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential
  •  SKILLS
  • Must be an excellent team player and able to work well with people
  • Good organisational skills
  • Able to remain calm and focussed under pressure
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  •  TECHNICAL
  • FLT licence desirable but not essential
  • PC literate desirable but not essential
