More about the roleDoes this role sound like a challenge you are up for?As one of our Returns Operatives you will play a key role in our Returns Process. Part of your role is ensure you always find ways to be smart and use your own initiative while completing tasks to the best of your ability. Tasks also include;Working to deadlines on unloading products when all vehicles return to our distribution centreScanning all documents for the De-brief of returning vehiclesEnsure all returned items are correctly logged in a timely mannerSorting out returns into good and bad stock then grading themHighlighting any issues found and escalating these to the right channelAdhering to the correct manual handling techniques in line with H&S training and the manufacturers guidelinesMonitoring any unidentified returnsEnsuring smooth collection and disposal of all wasteReporting any accidents, product issues or damagesOther ad-hoc duties that may arise
Here's what you can expect to be doingOur Returns Operatives provide an excellent service, making sure that our vehicles are empty and clean and all returns processes are adhered to.
A few things about youIt is important that our operatives can work together with other team members and our warehouse operatives, you need to be smart enough to work independently and be trusted with the tasks you are given. You also need to be bold enough to report any issues and caring enough to carry out all task with a ‘can do attitude.’EXPERIENCEYou must have excellent attention to detailMust be able to follow instructionsYou must be hardworking and demonstrate commitment to a good work ethicYour role will need you to be flexible as you will be required to work some weekendsExperience of working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential SKILLSMust be an excellent team player and able to work well with peopleGood organisational skillsAble to remain calm and focussed under pressureReliable and self-motivated TECHNICALFLT licence desirable but not essentialPC literate desirable but not essential
