Are you a graduate engineer interested in digital hardware design and verification? With the growing attraction of ARM’s video processors, the Arm Video Team is expanding and is looking for a talented, quality-minded and highly motivated graduate engineer.

The Media Processing Group (MPG) in Arm has the mission to be at the forefront of advanced multimedia IP products for the consumer, wireless and automotive infotainment markets. The Mali range of VPUs (Video Processors) delivers an advanced architecture for hardware acceleration of video codecs, specifically tuned for low energy consumption and high performance.

Role

At Arm, digital hardware verification through simulation is a significant, integral part of any product development process. Arm utilises a wide range of verification techniques, including simulation, prototyping, modelling and formal proofs, thereby providing a stimulating environment for graduate verification engineers to gain skills in this technically challenging field.

As a verification graduate engineer you will be a member of the video hardware verification team and work closely together with more senior verification engineers as well hardware and software design engineers. In a typical day you will work with testbench, testcase and property checker development either with the purpose of verifying the complex video processor on top-level or on unit level.

To provide you with a solid platform further personal development in verification, internal and external trainings will be offered.

Qualifications

A Master's degree in electronic engineering or computer science is expected, although other science graduates will be considered if they have relevant experience.

A successful candidate will display an interest in digital hardware and video technology along with technical creativity and willingness to acquire new skills. Apart from knowledge in RTL programming and verification languages, such as VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog, knowledge in Linux or Unix, script languages and C or C++ is regarded as merits.

About the office

The Arm Lund office is comprised of hardware and software developers working with Media Processing and with LPWAN (Low-Power Wide-Area Network) technology. Media Processing team develops tomorrow’s embedded Mali™ Video and Graphics technology and products while the WBU/LPWAN team develops tomorrow's family of Arm standards-based low-power wireless IP´s named Cordio®-N. The office is located in the vibrant Öresund region in the south of Sweden offering plenty of nature, city life, or natural experiences, alongside with Lund University and a range of tech companies.
