Multiple Openings. Software Engineer III (iOS Trust & Conversions) for Wayfair LLC in Boston, MA. Design and build a UI/UX for iPhone and iPad apps. Write high quality iOS, Swift, and Objective C code. Build user experiences with UI, engaging animations, and optimal performance. Collaborate with a team to create new iOS apps built upon our common mobile framework, and write new features and UI in existing iOS apps. Write automated unit and integration tests for use in continuous integration. Monitor , investigate, and fix critical issues in live application. Develop RESTful services in PHP to enable new app features. Contribute ideas for process improvement and best practices, and help shape the direction of the team and mobile direction for the company. Requires: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two years' experience performing iOS mobile development, QA and maintenance or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five years' experience performing iOS mobile development, QA and maintenance. One year of experience must include: Interfacing with business product leaders and engineers to gather requirements and translating requirements into system design; Utilizing iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, offline storage and threading; Utilize RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services; Performing web development using PHP, JavaScript and SQL; Performing version control using GIT; Performing design and development using HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create scalable applications, and designing back-end applications using PHP; Employing engineering and optimization best practices regarding frontend web standards, code maintainability, page rendering, and browser performance; and Defining test plans and performing unit testing.  Eligible for employee referral program.
