The purpose of the Legal Manager role is to:
1.Localise corporate legal initiatives, policies, action plans and activities etc. to support Thailand and Myanmar business of Cx, Rx businesses, R&D of Vx and Rx and GMS
2.Be accountable for regulatory compliance matters, transactional projects (divestiture/acquisition) as well as corporate secretariat matters
3.Support business on customer/competitor’s challenge/complaints and product liability, labor issue, anti-bribery practice
4.Review promotional material; provide cutting edge advice on product claims; and manage risk taken for product claims of Cx products
5.Provide consultation to global/regional/local R&D Clinical Medical team on medical/legal issues and agreements including Clinical Trial Agreement, Material Transfer Agreement, Informed Consent Form guideline, Delegation letter, Research Collaboration Agreement
6.Keep relevant corporate policies updated and delivery of proactive training on relevant policies, laws/regulations affecting the business
7.Work in collaboration with AP legal, Global Trade Sanction team, Global/Regional Compliance officer, Global Corporate Secretariat and Global IP lawyers
The Legal Manager is responsible for:
1.Corporate Secretary matters for 5 companies.
2.Responsible for the provision of a broad rane of legal advisory service to GSK Rx in Thailand and Myanmar and GSK Cx.
3.Draft and Revise all agreements related to business
4.Support Clinical Research Organization and Global Clinical team
Advise and support HR department on disciplinary activity for standard violations to ensure
1.Ensuring that GSK’s compliance culture is embedded at all levels of a complex organization
2.Responsible for ensuring GSK [Thailand] employees understand legal compliance requirements and use good judgment in activities.
Establishes and maintains credibility and trust throughout the organization and is able and willing to consistently advocate stakeholder for business growth within the line of ethics and legal compliance.
1.Advise stakeholders of legal, regulatory requirements and ensure accelerate business growth still subsists
2.Be capable of influencing stakeholders of the importance of legal compliance and reduction of exposure to risk.
Determine which (if not all) of the currently identified corporate and/or AP business risks apply to the business unit
1.Excellent ability to read & understand and write legal frameworks (laws, regulations, policies, decrees, SOP’s).
2.Ability to convey the intend of a legal framework to employees with a non-legal background
3.Excellent interpersonal skills; building trust and confidence, listening & influencing skills.
4.Strong analytical skills; ability to diagnose problems, resolve conflict, and develop practical solutions.
5.Excellent ability to manage sensitive confidential issues with complete discretion.

•Bachelor of law or high degree of reliance and accountability to stakeholders.
•At least 10 years’ experiences in corporate and commercial with the international law
•Knowledge & experience with corporate law, labor law, anti-competition law, contract drafting, product liability law.
•Demonstrated risk management, process improvement, and/or project management skills.
•Possesses business acumen, leadership ability and knowledge of key legal and economic trends
•Service-minded and able to work independently;
•Ability to multi-task; strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Strong time management and project/case management skills
•Excellent drafting, communication, and research skills
•Excellent communication skill (both verbally and in writing (English and Thai).
•Experience in fast paced environment in Inter MNC, FMCG, and is a plus
•TOEIC 900 up
