More About the RoleWe are looking for someone with a high level of 3D modelling expertise and creative passion to take responsibility for the production of high quality, animation ready 3D assets You will be responsible for leading a team of Jr and Mid modellers Provide art direction, have a keen eye for photorealism and the ability to bring life into any product or environment Lead the creation of new environments when required and frequently review and revise the existing environments and props to ensure the team is working at the highest standard Conduct the final checks and provide sign off on the quality and accuracy of models Lead by example and provide encouragement to maintain an engaged, creative team Working to tight deadlines to deliver 3D models to the animation team Provide guidance on more complicated modelling requirements when needed and have the ability to undertake ad-hoc work for marketing campaigns and innovation projects Oversee day to day operation of the team by delegating tasks and organising workflows Communicate deadlines and set goals to ensure work is completed on time and to the highest standard Keep senior management informed on the progress of projects providing weekly updates on team planning and performance Collaborate with the other team leads across the creative department to develop new techniques and processes, ensuring the 3D team are operating as efficiently as possible Use your experience to help the team build best-practices and asset management pipelines Conduct regular team meetings to discuss achievements and expectations Conduct regular 121’s and appraisals to assess team and individual performance Provide guidance and coaching to develop the skills of the Jr and Mid modellers
