More About the Role

You will be responsible for developing creative, innovative approaches and content to communicate with colleagues across Logistics and Financial Services. You will be expected to have a good understanding of the business and the challenges facing the teams in these areas. Your own communication skills will help ensure the company’s vision and corporate narrative is supported and championed. You will offer guidance and support for AO’ers based in the FS and Logistics and be seen as a communications expert with a strong understanding of how to drive engagement and promote pride and trust through our communications.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing

  • Act as a consultant to the business, working with colleagues to develop business communications
  • Use your expertise to make recommendations on what methods, channels and timelines we should be working to for different communications (e.g. videos, email, newsletter updates etc.)
  • Make sure all changes and comms requests are in line with AO strategy; push back to leaders and partners where necessary
  • Work on multiple projects and communications at any one time
  • Carry out comms project wash-ups; look at what worked, what didn't
  • Get involved in projects right through from start to finish
  • Working closely with internal communications manager, be the communication and messaging conscience/representative across all functions supported.
  • Take detail from key projects / rollouts and produce draft communications in a style consistent with the needs of the audience and the brand.
  • Work with the PR team to make sure communications are consistent externally
  • Prioritise and delegate comms production; working with the content team to brief work and manage quality in the right way
  • Create engaging and thoughtful content, ensuring that all content is aligned to the internal TOV guidelines
