Inside Sales - New Business Consultant Just Eat
We couldn’t create the world’s greatest food community without our restaurant partners, and our Sales department are driven by keeping those partners as happy and as part of the Just Eat community as they can. The Sales team’s job is also to acquire new restaurant partners and welcome them into our community by introducing our values and USPs.
It’s not just about getting orders though. Working for our Sales team means you’ll need to hold our partners’ hands throughout our partnership and provide them with the advice they’ll need - as and when they need it.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a commercially oriented and data driven individual to join our rapidly growing and evolving Top Placement team in Italy. You will be identifying the best opportunities to grow your portfolio of postcodes, calling eligible restaurant partners to help them grow their orders by positioning Just Eat unique sponsored link tool as a key driver to optimise their business. You will have a great understanding of this product, which already accounts for 6% of our revenue globally, you will make structured cold calls by using insights provided in data dashboards, pitch the product and close the sale. You will also ensure restaurants are satisfied with the product performance by analysing data and talking to them regularly, ensuring that not only Just Eat drives revenue growth but also our restaurants partners generate incremental orders.
You will also connect with other areas of the business such as territory managers to ensure x-functional alignment around the product value proposition and the way it is marketed. You will be joining a fast paced and dynamic team, with a range of products and fantastic innovation potential at Just Eat.
Grow revenue in your assigned portfolio of postcodes, ensuring that, at minimum, revenue targets are achieved.
Identify new business opportunities by extracting insights from data available.
Ensure high restaurant partner satisfaction, both in terms of product performance as well as service delivery.
Ensure eligibility criteria to be on top placement are met, in order to ensure that our customers also benefit from ordering from top placement restaurants.
Identify areas for improvement and greater efficiency in the way we do things, in order to help the team do more with the same.
Be an ambassador of top placement within the company, connecting with the rest of the functions that are operating in your portfolio of postcodes.
Support your team members, ensuring the team targets are achieved.
Required skills and experience
Account Management or New Business Sales experience
Telephone based sales experience beneficial
Degree educated or equivalent
Analytical mindset, you are comfortable navigating through data
Great communication and organisational skills
Ability to work to deadline
Team player, you know what a good team dynamic looks like
Independent thinker and razor sharp, you are capable of analysing a process and finding improvement areas.
Hard working and capable of delivering under pressure
Proven track record of hitting targets and KPIs
Strong ethics, no exceptions.
