HR Manager, Italy and Spain Just Eat

This role can either be based in Milan or Madrid.
You will be responsible for promoting the growth of the Italy and Spain offices of Just Eat by taking responsibility for staff selection, performance management, talent development, benefit & compensation, payroll, organizational development. You’ll have also the responsibility to supervise all activities related to office management and team event organisation.
You will be a key part of both the Italian and Spanish Management Team, reporting directly to the Country Manager of your base location and you will work hand-in-hand with them and with the central teams of the Just Eat Group based in the UK. You will have the opportunity to extend your professional network and collaborate with the other Just Eat countries to identify and implement the best practices of the group.
You will work closely with the Group People Team to align People initiatives and organisational development in Italy and Spain .
You’ll manage a team of three people: two based in Italy and one based in Spain.
A true business partner for the countries with a focus on designing the right organisation to achieve our targets
Recruitment and selection of new staff: leading all the process (drafting and writing profiles, screening cv, interviews in collaboration with managers)
Point of contact for employment contracts and ensuring compliance with labour legislation and company policies concerning staff management;
Managing monthly payroll with the support of the HR specialist and finance team.
Staff budget management.
Manage the local induction and onboarding activities;
Design and implement in-house training initiatives for current staff in collaboration with the Just Eat Group
Implement at local level the group’s periodic surveys on staff satisfaction and implementing any agreed improvement measures locally
Coach managers in all aspects of People management support
Support the roll-out of incentive schemes and performance objective plans for staff
Assist the management team on all aspects of people related decision-making and advice (calibration process, bonus schemes…).

Skills and Experience
5 years’ + experience in HR
Knowledge of Spanish and/or Italian labour and payroll legislation;
Advanced level of English, both written and spoken;
Highly advantageous if you are fluent in both Spanish and Italian however fluency in one of these languages is also fine
Willingness to travel frequently to the countries (every other week);
A master degree in human resources or an equivalent discipline will be regarded as an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills - can communicate effectively and build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation
Resourceful in their approach to resolving day to day operational HR issues and queries
You will be expected to travel to both Milan and Madrid on a regular basis (up to 50% of the time)
