Delivery Manager Just Eat
Position: Delivery Manager
Reporting to: Director of Delivery
The Customer organisation spans, Data and AI, marketing and operations and plays a pivotal role in defining and executing on programmes of work that revolutionise the way people interact with food online every day. Our team collaborates with other internal departments to make sure our products and tech are tailor-made from top insights and industry expertise. We are looking for a smart, energetic, and personable individual who is passionate about seeing things through. The role will be a blend of cross functional programme execution and in team optimisation to ensure there’s alignment and commitment to deliverables. It’s likely the role will focus predominantly in the data and marketing teams initially and will work to establish ways of working cross functionally between those teams and teams they interface with on a daily basis.
We need someone to drive and shape how customer data is used across the business, and land it in teams which can truly make a difference for our customers. Personalisation of customer experience is highly innovative and creative, and represents a great opportunity to build further value at Just Eat. However, to deliver outcomes requires significant collaboration, careful analysis, prioritisation, commercial insight and an ability to overcome various challenges. Your ability to see the big picture, influence, and drive action will be your core skills. You must be able to build strong relationships, understand and communicate clearly, adapt to change and working styles quickly. You will be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, in a fast-paced, technology environment.
You’ll be working across departments and teams to build a coherent narrative which connects the power of our data to use cases and will be a key driver in delivering scalable, personalised and automated opportunities to the business at large.
Delivering against defined business goals/metrics
Develop implementation plans and manage their delivery
Manage team delivery and facilitate cadence of meetings
Manage risks & issues, blockers & actions
Build, analyse and report on team delivery metrics presenting progress and team velocity to various stakeholders
Elaborate and disseminate delivery communications out of the team helping to visualise and to set expectations on the teams’ ability to deliver
Challenge Technology and Product to ensure that we’re building the right thing the right way
Ensure the team is happy and has everything it needs to be effective
Be an involved player of the Just Eat Delivery community
Deliver initiatives, projects and programmes across different teams
Collaborate across multiple Technology departments
