The opportunity

With over 11m customers, there has never been a better opportunity for us to develop greater engagement with them – as we seek to get them to order through us more regularly – and as part of this, we’re looking to step change our CRM and Customer Engagement strategy.

We’re looking for a CRM Executive superstar to work with us to transform our CRM activities and programmes by executing a best-in class strategy that successfully grows our CRM channel– and establishes multichannel CRM as a key lever in getting our customers to order more frequently as well as retaining more of them. Please note that this is initially a 6 months fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM Executive to join a new team working with the CRM Manager to build out a lifecycle centric programme to deliver on our ambitious business targets. This is not just about increasing open rates or growing click-throughs; this is about driving revenue from CRM as well as growing our customer lifetime value for one of the UK’s most successful e-commerce brands.

You will have day to day responsibility for defining and delivering our ambitious CRM plans, ensuring our activities align to the UK trading calendar as well as support and amplify our marketing streams spanning major advertising campaigns to trading spikes. You’ll also work closely with our copywriter and designer to deliver campaigns which excite and entice our customers to come back again and again.

You’ll need to be experienced with CRM tools, unafraid at working at pace and juggling multiple projects internally as well as be highly numerate and analytical continually reviewing and optimising our CRM activities.

Great looks like:

  • Extensive experience of building and executing complex CRM activity

  • Working with creative teams to bring your ideas to life

  • Support on development of personalised content across CRM programmes, using scripting languages such as AmpScript and server-side JavaScript

  • Ideally experience of working with Salesforce and/or Braze

  • Keep up-to-date with marketing and technology trends; mobile CRM, content, data, etc.

  • Implementing testing and optimisation to continually improve everything we do

  • Understands the customer lifecycle, and how to influence frequency and loyalty through CRM Activities

  • An eagle eye for detail thorough and conscientious. Always strives for perfection.

Required skills and experience
  • Experience of Braze or similar customer engagement platforms

  • Good knowledge of Email Marketing KPIs and techniques

  • Experience developing and executing life cycle programmes which drive lifetime value

  • Good understanding of HTML and best email practices

  • Flexible and comfortable working in a change-oriented, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work across creative and technology teams

  • Experience in ecommerce or related industries

  • Experience of delivering frequency focused campaigns
