More About the Role

You’ll be responsible implementing and maintaining our digital analytics and tag management solutions across This role is pivotal to ensuring we can accurately measure and optimise our customer’s digital experience as well as driving web performance and UX initiatives. You will drive the development and adoption of measurement plans, building strong relationships with both developers and those consuming data. You’ll ensure the highest standards of data quality are maintained. Day to Day you’ll report to our Web Analytics Manager and play a key role in making Web Analytics a centre of excellence within the business.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing

  • Devise governance and implementation plans that ensure what we measure drives onsite conversion and optimisation.
  • Understanding user and business needs and identifying analytics implementation requirements.
  • Implement analytics tags, marketing tags and custom code using JavaScript (training available if required) within our tag management solution.
  • Work closely with our development team to maintain and improve the quality our data layer and data management implementation.
  • To ensure our web analytics implementation is complaint with EU and UK regulation, such as GDPR.
  • To maintain, optimise and expand the capabilities of our web analytics platform to drive enhanced analysis and insight.
  • Devise user governance to manage user profiles to provide the optimal level of access.
  • Work closely with the analytics team to build implementation plans
  • Support our UX and Web Optimisation teams with the correct implementation, activation and measurement of multivariate and A/B tests.
  • Support our Acquisition team with campaign tracking and integration with our bid management platform.

    A Few Things About You

  • Previous experience and deep understanding of analytics solutions (Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics) and additionally have worked tag management solutions.
  • JavaScript experience is desirable, but training can be provided if required.
  • Experience of understanding and translating user requirements into analytics outputs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships with both end users and developers alike.
  • Previous experience of solving problems and delivering solutions
  • A strong eye for detail and takes pride in quality of data and its use.
  • Importantly you’ll have a passion for learning and mastering something new, whether that’s a new feature within our analytics solution, learning JavaScript or how to implement a new marketing tag.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen critical.
