Our manufacturing site in North Ryde is going through an exciting expansion phase and to accompany our growth we are looking for an additional Continuous Improvement / Lean Facilitator to join our local team to build capability and continue to embed lean as our license to operate and drive towards best practice.
Reporting into the Quality Improvement Manager, your mission will be to support our site wide Lean Maturity Programme. With fill responsibility for projects assigned to you, you will lead Lean projects across the manufacturing and supply chain arena. Your main contribution will be as a facilitator and hands on subject matter expert in Lean Six Sigma tools, processes, Lean thinking and its practical application.
This role requires a calm, pragmatic approach, combined with the energy, gumption and influencing skills to empower the people around you and unlock their potential. Your ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, build credibility and execute projects will be central to your success. For you to successfully contribute to this team, you must be able to work in an agile environment and leverage you’re strong organisational skills, prioritisation ability and a great eye for detail.
With a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or related field, you have Lean Expertise or have had Lean Six Sigma training, either in-house or externally facilitated with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes. A positive attitude, team player and strategic thinker, you have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, are a Self-starter with the ability to lead and implement change and above all can translate your passion and energy for continuous improvement into measurable commercial outcomes.
