We are currently recruiting for an upbeat and enthusiastic Receptionist.
In this role you will be part of a small team managing the smooth and efficient running of the office. The successful candidate will have a warm and welcoming manner, demonstrating a 'can do' attitude and happy to take on extra responsibility when required.
Meeting and greeting guests, giving them a great visitor experience
Taking telephone calls and ensuring accurate messages are passed to the relevant person
Taking full ownership of the reception area, ensuring high standards are met
Managing the meeting rooms and car park spaces
Monitoring kitchen supplies, refreshments, stationery and any other ad-hoc stock
Arrange couriers, taxi bookings, manage deliveries
Sort, distribute, frank incoming and outgoing post
General administrative support to the Office Manager
Being the ‘go to person’ in the office
General upkeep of the office
Helping with office and department events
Activate staff and visitor ID badges
Carry out weekly temperature checks
Manage the Reception mailbox as well as personal mailbox
Oversee supplier services such as milk delivery, recycling collections etc.
Frequently using our invoicing system to ensure suppliers payments are kept up to date and in order.
Demonstrates a polite, professional and helpful telephone manner
Energetic and enthusiastic approach
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Friendly and welcoming, happy to greet staff and visitors with a smile
Good knowledge of Google including Gmail, Google docs and Hangouts would be an advantage
Flexible approach to work, will get stuck into any task
This is not a 'glued to your desk, answering call after call' receptionist role, this role will see you up and about around the whole office
Experience in an office based environment
Able to use initiative and prioritise issues
