Day to Day Activities

  • Determine strategic direction of brand
  1. Together with the direct manager develop a long-term vision for the category and brand growth
  2. Together with the direct manager develop brand long-term marketing objectives
  3. Identify major business building opportunities and follow through on their execution
  4. Develop and execute EPD’s and NPD’s launches plans
  5. Develop / adapt packaging and advertising messages in order to achieve brand(s) desired positioning
  • Manage brand marketing activities
  1. Together with the direct manager develop the annual brand plans balancing key events throughout the year
  2. Manage scheduling of key initiatives
  3. Make the brand more competitive by proposing pricing changes, promotions and advertising messages
  4. Work closely with Trade Marketing and Sales to generate broad scale support for and knowledge of key category

activities

  1. Work together with Trade Marketing and Sales departments to develop brand(s) national promotional plans
  • Analyze consumer research and draw conclusions accordingly
  1. Propose and analyze relevant consumer research studies in order to better understand consumer behaviour
  2. Be the in-house expert on the consumer’s category needs, behaviour and practices
  3. Fully understand market changes and consumer purchase habits
  4. Draw conclusions and recommendations based on sound consumer research
  • P/L management and budget management
  1. Manage brand profit/ loss statements
  2. Control marketing expenditures and manage brand marketing budget
  3. Help Supply department manage inventory levels to an optimum by proposing promotions/ offers / other marketing

activities in order to keep stocks at planned level

  • Monitor the activities of key competitors
  1. Be aware of competitive strategies, positioning and activities
  2. Be informed about new competitive product launches
  3. Monitor competitive media and promotion activities
  4. Help Trade Marketing prepare category management presentations
  • Manage the relationship with the advertising agencies and other appropriate partners
  1. Manage negotiation, specification and purchase of marketing materials and services
  2. Ensure the quality and in time execution of projects managed by agencies
  3. Provide proper briefings to business partners
  4. Monitor agency performance and help build strong agency relations
  5. Utilize full potential of advertising agencies bringing added value for RB
