  • To plan, source and manage a range of branded products in-line with client requirements.
  • To drive revenue growth and increase profitability in a new business area.
  • Collaborate across multiple departments both internally and externally always striving to develop the category and explore opportunities.
  • The role also involves managing & developing an Assistant Buyer.
  • Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing
  • Maximising sales & profit margin for defined categories
  • Negotiating product support in an a demanding market
  • Analysing & reporting of sales figures
  • Sourcing and implementing ranges from branded key suppliers
  • Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with key manufactures & suppliers
  • Managing stock holding & aged stock within agreed KPI’s
  • Working closely with clients team to deliver tender proposals with timescales
  • Liaising with external client to win opportunities
  • Working cross-departmentally to deliver best strategy
  • Managing and developing an Assistant Buyer
  • A Few Things About You
  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • Experience with B2B and/or AV/CE Market
  • Organised with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple requests with differing KPI’s
  • Analytical understanding of numbers
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to an exceptional standard
  • Self-motivated, passionate and driven
  • Ability to successfully negotiate trading ranges
  • Ability to successfully negotiate incremental funds
  • Ability to find solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment achieving set budgets and deadlines
  • Ability to communicate and present results clearly and concisely
