Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing Maximising sales & profit margin for defined categories Negotiating product support in an a demanding market Analysing & reporting of sales figures Sourcing and implementing ranges from branded key suppliers Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with key manufactures & suppliers Managing stock holding & aged stock within agreed KPI’s Working closely with clients team to deliver tender proposals with timescales Liaising with external client to win opportunities Working cross-departmentally to deliver best strategy Managing and developing an Assistant Buyer
A Few Things About You Ideally educated to degree level Experience with B2B and/or AV/CE Market Organised with a high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple requests with differing KPI’s Analytical understanding of numbers Ability to analyse and interpret data to an exceptional standard Self-motivated, passionate and driven Ability to successfully negotiate trading ranges Ability to successfully negotiate incremental funds Ability to find solutions to complex problems Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment achieving set budgets and deadlines Ability to communicate and present results clearly and concisely Supplier management - strong professional relationships with all Account Managers Confident in communicating and presenting Excellent in relationship building internally and externally across levels Commercial awareness Ability to manage & develop others
