Job description/Person specification To manage and control assets: Ensure full accountability and compliance for assets held within the governance of QinetiQ. To ensure items remain fit for use through meticulous administration of systems and timely stakeholder engagement

• Understanding of the requirements of ITAR with regard to the movement of freight and internal acceptance, storage and release
• Customer focused and proactive in customer engagement
• Ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels
• Ability to use own initiative in non-standard situations without supervision
• Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Able to make decisions based on own knowledge and experience.
• Aware of the QinetiQ vision and values

Challenges/Experience:
• Manage and control management of company assets and MoD Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) through asset manager programme/SAP.
• To provide support for training for SAP/AMP systems.
• To support the management of calibration activities in support of QinetiQ and Mod Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
• Liaise with Trade Solutions ensuring freight movement remains compliant at all times.
• Maintain internal and external delivery of assets.
• Maintain systems integrity & document control for calibration.
• Deliver tasks as delegated by Team Leads
• Resolves queries using judgment based on analysis of information and knowledge and experience of processes and services.
• To lead support for all internal and external Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) related Audits
• Be able to identify and implementing continuous improvements to process

• Proven experience working within Stores & Logistics managing Technical items and Asset control
• Experience in shipping goods within the UK and Globally
• Experience working with Trade Solutions and an understanding of the customs requirement for movement of goods
• Competent at working with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of working within a customer focused environment
